Active Ingredients:

Acetaminophen, USP ............... 500 mg

Chlorpheniramine Maleate, USP ... 4 mg

Dextromethorphan HBr, USP ..... 20 mg

Pseudoephedrine HCl, USP ....... 60 mg

Inactive Ingredients:   Citric Acid, Flavors, Glucose, Glycerin, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Natural Grade A Honey, Polyethylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Benzoate, Water

Indications:   For the temporary relief of these symptoms associated with a cold, or flu, hay fever, or other respiratory allergies: cough, minor aches and pains, sore throat, headache, muscular aches, fever, nasal congestion, itching of the nose and throat, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, sneezing.

Dosage:

Directions:   Do not take more than 4 doses in any 24-hour period. Follow dosage below.

Adults and children over 12 years of age:   Empty 1 entire pouch into a 4-6 oz cup of hot beverage (tea). Repeat every 4 hours, as needed.

Children:   Children under 12 years: not recommended. Do not use in children under 2 years of age.

Warnings:

Alcohol warning: if you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.

Sore throat warning: if sore throat is severe, persists for more than two days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly.

Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson' disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.

Ask a doctor before use if you have:

• heart disease
• high blood pressure
• thyroid disease
• diabetes
• trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland
• glaucoma
• cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus)
• a breathing problem or chronic cough that lasts or as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers.

When using this product

• do not use more than directed
• marked drowsiness may occur
• avoid alcoholic drinks
• alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness
• be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery
• excitability may occur, especially in children

• you get nervous, dizzy, or sleepless
• new symptoms occur
• you need to use for more than 7 days
• symptoms do not get better, get worse, or are accompanied by fever more than 3 days
• redness or swelling is present
• cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
